Miss Bailey graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and design in the spring of 2011 with a BFA in Photography and a BFA in Art History. She spent her junior year in Italy, where she worked with mentally challenged artists, created new artwork and ate far too much pasta! Miss Bailey also spent three years volunteering with Horizons for Homeless Children, and is excited to be here at BASE to continue to share her love of learning and creative practice with her students. Miss Bailey is currently a part time art teacher in the Braintree Public Schools as well as the art teacher here at BASE for the second year!
Miss Kim is new to BASE this year and is extremely excited about becoming part of a wonderful community of teachers and students! She recently moved here from New York, where she attended Syracuse University and graduated with a BFA in Art Education and a MS in Childhood Education. Miss Kim was previously an Elementary Art Teacher in New York and is currently a substitute teacher in the Braintree Public Schools and Quincy Public Schools. She is looking forward to a fun and creative year at BASE working in the 3rd grade classroom with Miss Bailey!
